CCAPS Honorary Residents

This page includes a few of our residents we've had the longest here at CCAPS. We consider them our honorary residents as they have been with us the majority of their lives. With each resident we have given a brief story of when they came to us, how they came to us and some of their qualities we've discovered while having them. We hope you see just how amazing these animals are as we do here at CCAPS.

Winter & Fat Girl

Winter

Picture
Two   of our   oldest residents came to us   July of 2015.   Winter and Fat Girl were apart of an animal cruelty case just like many of our others residents are.   The two   were found after CCAPS   received a call about   several   suffering animals.   When we got to the location majority of the animals were already dead  or almost dead.  Although Winter and Fat  Girl were pretty bad off in  health  they were able to make a strong recovery and have been apart of our CCAPS family ever since.   The   two are a bonded   pair   and practically inseparable;   Winter is actually   Fat Girl's Grandma!

Jemma

Picture
Jemma joined our CCAPS family in June of 2016. She was just 9 weeks old when she was brought into the shelter. Jemma was surrendered along with  3 other puppies, however unfortunately for Jemma she was the only one not adopted.  She has grown up in the shelter so the shelter is all she knows. Since Jemma grew up in the shelter she doesn't have very good social skills. We're hoping someone will see the qualities of this gem and be loving/patient with her.

Banjo

Picture
On February 2nd of 2017  Banjo and his 6 other siblings were brought to CCAPS hoping someone will come by and adopt them. However just like Jemma, Banjo was the only one left of his litter that didn't find his forever home. Banjo has been at the shelter ever since he was dropped off and shares the same qualities as Jemma in the sense of only knowing life within the CCAPS walls. He is very indifferent when it comes to the idea of things such as other dogs and cats, Banjo particularly likes his own space as it's what he's used to.

Bosephus

Picture
Bosephus joined us  July of 2018  after being found in a ditch here in Magnolia. We call him a bottle baby because he  was less than a week old when he was dumped and  brought into CCAPS. Not only does he have the name of being a bottle baby but he's known for being a ladies man as well. While being at CCAPS we've noticed  Bosephus seems to get along better with the female dogs rather than the males here at the shelter. Bosephus has always been a bundle of joy since he's arrived and we're hoping someone else sees his amazing qualities and the potential he has to being their bestfriend.

We Would Love to Have You Visit Soon!
